Collection: Ivory

The Ivory silhouette is a single deep scallop with a steep radius incline of 15 degrees, this tight turn requires accomplished skills to manipulate the machine needle around the curve. The recess on the Ivory scallop sits 5mm up from the baseline as a feature and requires precise stitching to create a ‘structured-square’ effect. A stitch length setting of #2 is used to keep the stitches tight and small ie compact enough to support the turning and nicking-in required to set the shape in place. A seam allowance of strictly 2mm is essential for achieving a consistent finish.
